Twenty Years After

The sequel to The Three Musketeers, reuniting d'Artagnan and his friends two decades on.

Twenty years have passed since the adventures of The Three Musketeers. D'Artagnan is still a lieutenant, Athos has retired to the country, Porthos is a wealthy landowner and Aramis has entered the Church. As France is torn by the uprising of the Fronde and England by civil war, the four friends find themselves on opposing sides, until loyalty draws them together again in a daring attempt to save King Charles I of England.

Full of intrigue, swordplay and comradeship, this is the second novel in Dumas's d'Artagnan Romances.
