Munk, Joseph Amasa

Joseph Amasa Munk (1847 - 1927) was German - born American writer, traveler, and diarist of late nineteenth century. He explored many remote areas and wrote about them in a unique style. One of his popular books was Arizona Sketches, in which he depicts the state of Arizona and the life there. He published various books on Arizona and was considered an expert on the history of the state. ;
