The Course of True Love

Four of Shakespeare's most joyful comedies, full of love, disguise, mistaken identity and wit.

In A Midsummer Night's Dream, four young lovers and a band of amateur actors are caught up in the mischief of the fairies in an enchanted wood. Twelfth Night begins with a shipwreck and a young woman disguised as a man, As You Like It sends the quick-witted Rosalind into the Forest of Arden in disguise, and Much Ado About Nothing pits Beatrice and Benedick, the sharpest-tongued lovers in Shakespeare, against each other.

Romantic, funny and full of music, these are the plays that show Shakespeare at his most playful.
