An 1877 publication, The American Senator is one of the best works of Anthony Trollope that is considered to be an outcome of inspiration. With an array of characters, the work is about the underlying strength of women and weakness of men. With that Trollope is also dealing with cross-culture evaluation, emphasizing that complete comprehension of an alien culture is not possible. This novel is a satire of life in both, Britain and the United States.
